Old Hickory.

I want to, and I would everyone else to, wish that Cherry Girl a Happy Birthday. Now, down to business. What’s up with Andrew Jackson on the twenty dollar bill? The irony of having the face of a man who despised the banks and the bankers on one of your nation’s most widely circulated pieces of currency is amazing. It’s like every bank teller is being glared at by thousands of little Old Hickories. Not to mention the fact that Jackson was notorious for killing and enslaving people who were browner than he was. Apparently historians have been asking this very question for a couple of years now. They have come up with the same answers as me. Nothing. Well, I guess I’ll go get this day started so that it can be over. More soon. ~SC
