The Pied Piper of Holliday Island.

Perhaps, there is something about me that attracts mice, to their deaths. Here in Lippincottonia, I have killed 26 mice in the past week or so, but I haven’t had any problems at home. My traps have been, literally, gathering dust, unsprung, on the floor for months. Last night I was standing in the living room, talking to Pancake Land, and SNAP! Dead mouse. I think that when I get my pet white mice it will be an act of penance. My job will be a keep them alive to pay for all that I have made dead, sort-of-thing.

Pancake Land photographed my cookbook/notebook for me. She pointed out that it was quite difficult to shoot in her setup because it is white and the cookbook/notebook is black and white. I think she did a great job with what she had to work with. I might shoot it in the grayscale setup we have in Lippincottonia. Anyway, I present to you, my cookbook/notebook:

Isn’t it handsome? Yeah, I like it, too. I have yet to actually write anything in it, though.

Well, yesterday was a great day. Especially in comparison to Monday. Everything was great until about 1:30am when Nami decided she was going to have a runny butt. I wasn’t having it. I brought both of the girls to Lippincottonia and went back home and back to bed.

All of this talk of Lippincottonia reminds me that I am late for work. More soon. ~SC

P.S. Don’t forget, tonight is Top Chef!
