Well, it is 9:30am. I’m in the lobby of the hotel typing this. In less than 3 hours, we must check out, and then we wait another 1.5 hours for our shuttle to the airport. It always happens this way. When you just start to get used to being away from home, it’s time to return. And go back to work.

Pancake Land and I finally spotted an iguana yesterday. I, of course, forgot to put the photos on the computer, so you’ll have to wait on that. Just know that P.L. has been wanting to see one all week and we finally saw one.

Overall, we accomplished everything we set out to do. P.L. saw the beach. We saw an iguana. We laid in hammocks. She drank a margarita (or three). We did a whole lot of nothin’. We didn’t get mugged. (Knock on wood.) Everybody was cool and it didn’t rain the entire time. I think this trip has been a resounding success.

I don’t really want to leave. I was just getting the hang of this not doing anything business. Of course, it is driving me a little crazy not doing anything. I feel the urge to build a cabana or something. Maybe this weekend. We’ll see. Well, I’ve got to go pack and whatnot. Plus, I really need to pee.

Anyways, don’t expect much of a post tomorrow. We don’t get in until like midnight tonight and then I have class bright and early at 8am tomorrow. Class and work in the letterpress shop and more class until 7pm or so. By then, I’ll be wiped out I’m sure. I’ll get photos up when I can, so just keep checking back.

Well, it is time. Send us good traveling vibes. More soon. ~SC
