Actually, A NAPA Racing Hat Is The Last Thing…

I would have thought of when it comes to getting something for free.

I am filled with that sleepy rage this morning. You know, when all you want to do is make it from the bed to the bathroom to pee, and then from the bathroom to the coffee pot, but you can’t because there are three tiny high pitched kittens meowing incessantly because they ate all of the food out of the bowl. And at least one of them thinks that your office is their own private bathroom. You know what I’m talking about.

If, and when, I catch the culprit I am going to punch them in the face. If I were a betting man, I’d put my money on Nigel. He was the one that poo-ed in Pancake Land’s office. Yeah, I’m fairly certain it’s him. Jerk.

Well, last night, I watched some amazing videos from the Tiny Desk Concert series (brought to you by listener-supported NPR). If you have never checked them out, they are wonderful. You can watch them on the NPR website (just search for Tiny Desk Concert series) or get the podcast via iTunes. Well, for those that don’t know, the premise is that musicians come into the NPR offices (Bob Boilen’s, actually) and play a very short concert. There are lots of amazing people who’ve been on there, both old and new to the music world. I am going to share a few of my favorites with you today.

Nellie Mckay

She is so precious and strange.

Gogol Bordello

The NPR offices were never ready for Gogol Bordello. And they will never be the same again.

I have one last one for you, but, unfortunately, I couldn’t find the whole concert on YouTube. So, I’m just going to give you the link.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Sandwich Control is proud to present: Mister Weird Al Yankovic.

It is very strange to see him without his mustache. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it. Well, that’s all I’ve got for you today. I hope you enjoyed it. Have a wonderful rest of your day. More soon. ~SC

I figured it out – Hobo with a shotgun was a trailer for grindhouse, but it was the Canadian theatrical release. I knew I had seen that shit before. Along with this – http://youtu.be/XQifXaOboMU
