Titanic II.

Happy Easter everybody. Whatever that means to you. It’s just “Keep It Real” from Biker Boyz.

It means deviled eggs to me. A whole dozen. I’ll be making them later today. That is, if I ever get the rest of my list done. I’ve got loads of things to do today.

I’ve got to finish the rebuild of the trike so that I don’t have to walk to work tomorrow. I’ve got to write my Microbiology lab assignment so that I don’t fail my lab. I’ve got to make a menu for the week and buy the necessary groceries so that my sweet baby doesn’t starve to death. I’ve got to write an article so that I can afford to keep living the way that I do. I’ve got to empty all of the trash in order to keep the invading armies of ants at bay. At some point, I should probably balance my checkbook and finish paying the bills so that the gas doesn’t get shut off. I’ve got to ponder the question that produces the answer 42. You get the picture.

To top everything off, like a big ol’ cherry, it is still raining. And it will most likely continue doing so for the next few days. Great.

Oh, I got my mower parts in yesterday. If only I had time to install them. Well, as long as it keeps raining I won’t need the mower. The good news is that I got the majority of the trike rebuild done last night. I just need to do a few minor adjustments to get the chain tensions corrected, attach the rear fenders, reattach the basket, and install the computer (that I got for Grismas two years ago). I took her out for a test drive last night, to check the chain alignment and gearing, and she ran like a dream. Hills are no longer a match for my proletariat-powered Soviet machine of transporting. In Soviet Russia, tricycle rides you.

I’ve been having a really hard time coming up with a name for my Triker gang. It should be something that involves the number 3 you know, since we’ve got 3 wheels and all. The best ones that I come up with are:

The 3 Aces

Triggers

and

Trigsters

What do you think? Any ideas? Please let me know if you come up with anything. As soon as we get a name, we can get patches made that will be sewn on the backs of our cutoff jean jackets. Hell yeah.

So, last night after I reached a stopping point on the trike, I went in to cool down from the test drive and Pancake Land was about to start watching, I kid you not, Titanic II.

And yes, it is probably one of the most terrible things I’ve ever seen. I had to tear myself away from it in order to go to bed. It was like watching a car accident. I just could not stop staring it was so bad. From the kickass 90s CG (despite the fact that the film was made last year) to the Oscar-caliber acting of everyone in the film, it was truly awesome. My jaw just dropped open and stayed that way. I would say that RiffTrax should have a go at it, but it would be way too easy. If you want to watch it (cough…Furious Jessy…cough) it is available on the NetFlix instant queue. What is up with the really slippery floor at the top of the stairs?

Anyways, I’ve sat at this keyboard long enough. I’ve got stuff to do. Like make deviled eggs. Yeah so, enjoy the rest of your weekend. More soon. ~SC

You should call your gang the Trebuchets. Only change it to Tredouches.
    Or best yet the Tri-Angels

  2. TeacherSis says:

oooh I like the Tri-Angels – I might have to buy a trike just to be a part of this. The patch could be a right triangle labeled with the Pythagorean Theorem with a little infinite sign over the uppermost vertex like a halo….hell to the yeah.

I saw T2 on the netflix last night and for half a heartbeat I thought of watching it. Then I slapped my stupid face off.

[Also, why doesn’t WP see me any more!]

I saw that it was on Netflix. Jackie wouldn’t let me click on it. Boo.

I was thinking the Tri-Angels emblem could be an inverted pink triangle with three infinity symbols flying out of it and some asterisks sprinkled around it like stardust.
