I would like to start out today by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Nina Bigpants. Be sure to wish her one as well.

Hey guys, it’s November. Jeezus. Another month gone. October flew by in a terribly slow way on one hand and in the blink of an eye on the other. It’s funny how that works out sometimes.

Most of yesterday was spent making turtle plates. I also packed up a hurdy gurdy for La Duchess. She sold hers on eBay and I had to ship it out for her. What’s a hurdy gurdy, you ask? This is a hurdy gurdy:

La Duchess’s wasn’t nearly that fancy. I think that chick built that one that she’s playing.

After work at the studio, I came home and tutored Geometry. I had a break until 7, so I listened to Fresh Air on NPR. Guess who the special guest was. Tom Waits. The interview was brilliant. There’s always work that needs to be done.

Well, I got to sleep late again and had trouble talking myself out of the warm blankets and into the cold dark world. I’m off to trim some turtles. More soon. ~SC
