Man, I slept poorly last night. It wouldn’t have been so stupid had I not been exhausted. I felt absolutely worn out when I crawled into bed last night. I fell asleep pretty promptly, as you’d expect. An hour and a half later I wake up for no reason. I’m so tired that I can’t fall back asleep. And so irritable that I can’t get comfortable. It seems like only moments pass between the time when I fall back asleep and the time when the radio rednecks force me to get out of bed with their loud ramblings about some doctor in the 40’s who transplanted goat testicles into men to revise their “vigor”.

And yet, I somehow still managed to sleep in to the point of being late for work. Perhaps it was that second snooze button punch that got me. Whatever happened, I actually fell asleep and then woke with a start at 7:20am. Great.

And the coffee maker needs to be descaled. My coffee tastes like butt this morning. Oh, Batman, I am really glad that this year only has 2 Mondays left. This year’s Mondays seem worse than any other year’s.
