The Chinaman is not the issue, dude.

I’d like to start out today’s post by wishing a very Happy 16th Birthday to Bubba Fett. Be sure to wish him one as well. And stay off of the road.

Yesterday, Dave made yet another post. You should check it out. If you watch no other video, watch the Miley Cyrus one. It is amazingly done. Trust me on this. I’m a doctor (a good man, and thorough).

Also yesterday, Deinonychus made a post for her work about National Cat Day. You might see some familiar faces in the slideshow.

Last night, SIO pointed me at Ghost Ghirls. All he had to say was Jack Black, Dave Grohl, and Val Kilmer are a ghost band and I was in. Unfortunately, I can’t post the video here. So, you’ll have to go here to watch it.

Just so’s yous knows, I spent the majority of my day yesterday with a splitting headache. Did it suck? Yes. What kind of dingus thinks having a headache all day doesn’t suck? Jeez.

At some point I muscled through and fell down the YouTube rabbit hole. All I wanted was to listen to “Galway Girl” by Steve Earle. I meandered around and ended up listening to Nappy Roots. So it goes. Along the way, I did discover one song that blew my mind a bit. I found it as I segued from “Galway Girl” back into “Psycho Killer” but before I got to “Fade to Black”. Long before I got to “Headz Up”. Anyway, apparently, Amnesty International released some tribute album to Bob Dylan. And this song is on it:

Yeah. Amazing, right?

And I couldn’t sleep because of my headache. I had fitful dreams of making out with people in outdoor bathroom stalls at theaters in Chicago and being kidnapped by the Chinese. It was a rough night.

Okay. I have to go pretend to be a grown up now. I hope this put a smile on your stupid faces.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC

  1. Dave says:

What handsome boys. For National Cat Day I locked my cats in the bathroom so I could redo the bedroom floor. It took all day, but it was worth it. On both counts.
