It’s like roadhead, but with a higher casualty rate.

I spent the first half of yesterday solving logarithmic equations. I spent the second half of yesterday baking 16 dozen cookies and listening to classic UK metal. The combination of those things had roughly the same effect as eating too much cake at Fire Mountain.

This is the part of the post where I steal Dave’s formatting idea and post a bunch of the gems that I listened to while the cookie onslaught was occurring. First up is the namesake for this post:

They are so proud of that awesomeness, there is no choice but to showcase it on the video:

So bad it’s good. It isn’t a stretch to imagine Back Alley Trey listening to that at max volume in his bedroom. Probably wearing a fishnet shirt and giant headphones with a stupidly long coiled cord. Maybe doing the air guitar solo whilst standing on his bed.

All that to satisfy the god of cookies. Why sate the sweet tooth of the divine? Because it’s Hanukkah. Duh. So, before we feast on the crunchy bits of their flesh, let us take a moment and offer a prayer to the gods of this feast.

Batman, thank you for watching over us as we sleep. Crom, thank you for letting us crush our enemies, see them driven before us, and hear the lamentations of their women. And Jobu, if you won’t help me hit the curveball, then fuck you. I’ll do it myself.
