In the shadow of the Wizard.
Tuesday was weirder than usual. I spent an unusually large amount of the day putting stickers in my World Cup sticker book. Like multiple hours. Gone. Because I was peeling stickers and placing them in a notebook. Why? Because I am a grown up.
I did manage to collect a serious stack of duplicates that will be going to the only other person I know who actually gives a crap about football. Yes, that would be Furious Jessy. Yes, a handful of you out there give a crap, but you don’t live down the road from me. You also don’t work on my website at all hours of the day and night when I accidentally erase some piece of important code. If you care that much, ask FJ for her duplicates. I’m sure there will be enough to go around. Batman knows I have a small stack of Shinji Kagawa’s already. And he is just one man. There are something like 599 other dudes in this sticker book. The odds are pretty good that I’ll get more than one extra of a lot of them.
Today is a day of getting around slowly. I snoozed my alarm for nearly an hour. Anybody else not want to get out of bed because it is friggin’ cold out there? And by out there, I mean all places that are not the bed.
My bosses are scheduled to return later today. Huzzah! In preparation for that, I will spend today finding all of my stuff that is scattered in various places around the ranch. I will also, hopefully, have a moment this morning/early afternoon to catch up on my stories.
Tomorrow, the schedule resumes as normal.
We should probably get going, if we’re going to stay ahead of the weather.
See ya’ tomorrow.
More soon. ~SC
