Fast, Frozen Days.

And warm, steamy nights.

With your host, Dr. Slow Jamz.

Yesterday was another day of madness.

The morning, post-workout and breakfast, was mostly spent on stand-by for work and preparing my mind for printing the Labyrinth poster for the J-Bird. Then, I headed to the studio to make it so. I got the first run on it done. I’ll have to do at least two more runs on it before it is done. One of which is dependent on a block of linoleum getting carved.

The temperature dropped slowly all day, so it came as no surprise that work called me in about the time school was letting out. I headed over to the school as the rain turned to sleet and the sleet turned to snow. I picked up the kiddo and headed for the ranch. I dropped the boy-o off and headed back into the tundra to wind my way home.

I got home safely. I even had a surprise waiting for me in the mailbox. Check it out:

Got my new ornament in. I can’t wait to test it out. Maybe later today.

I also saw this amazing thing when I got home:

And the Violent Femmes released a new song!

I got a little bored being snowed in at the end of the day, so I got busy doing stuff.

I ordered a record.

I made a new letterpress printer friend via Instagram, and I’ll be shipping them a care package of goodies today or tomorrow. And they are sending me one, too. Friendship!

I rounded out the night with a lot of slow jams. Ahem. I mean Slow Jamz.

Today, I’m probably going to go try to get more printing done. Maybe watch a movie. Maybe eat some soup or chili. Some sort of semi-liquid hot food. Preferably brown. If not brown, then at least tan.

Keep on rockin’ in the free world.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
