Yesterday was another hectic day. It was nonstop running around.

Right, smack dab, in the middle of it, I came home to find this:

Waiting for me in my mailbox.

So, that made me feel better about my day. Not that I had a bad day. It was a good day. It was just hectic and wore me out.

I was a grumpy boy by the time I got home from running the evening workout. But I found my sandwich, that I didn’t eat at lunch, waiting for me when I got home. Good ol’ Rachel.

Anywho, the cards are actually more of a collector’s item rather than a playable expansion. Although you could if you wanted to. And I’m gonna give it a try.

As for the wood type, that was somewhat of a surprise. I ordered that box of dots from Moore Wood Type. The order took a little longer to ship out than they expected it to, so they emailed me apologizing and letting me know that they planned to send me a few extra pieces of type to make up for the delay.

First off, it wasn’t really a delay. The other wood type that I ordered from Virgin Wood Type is going to take 8 weeks before it gets shipped out. And the wood type that I ordered from Romania took nearly six weeks. So the two weeks it took for Moore to get me my type, was not a big deal.

And number B, that is a little more than a few pieces of type. That’s 19 pieces of type. Whereas I ordered 30 pieces of type. That is beyond generous. I would have been happy as a pig in shit to have just received one of those Arkansas cuts and nothing else. But the catchwords, and the stars, and the ornaments…

Well, needless to say, I was over the moon by yesterday’s mail delivery.

I’m expecting a water filter for my boss’s refrigerator today. Doesn’t quite have the same impact.

Well, that’s all I’ve got for you this morning. I’m off to do a new seemingly brutal workout.
