Watching Cows Dry.

And other boring adventures of an old man.

I’d like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Rosco the Furious Mick. Be sure to wish him one as well.

Yesterday was, um, interesting.

I worked in my studio for a bit. I didn’t print anything. Mostly, I just organized.

At some point, I went and bought a new pair of insoles.

For the past few weeks my feet have been hurting. My right foot, actually. Like it wants to curl up in a ball and die. So, I’ve been exploring the possibility of buying a new pair of shoes for everyday use. Walking shoes more or less. Old man shoes more like it.

sigh

So, in addition to the walking shoes idea, the other idea being thrown around by members of my council is insoles. The fancy kind. The ones where you have to stand on the machine at the store and it scans your stupid feet for your stupid poor posture.

I decided to give option 2 a try and stood on the machine. I then paid $50 for a pair of insoles. They went immediately into my shoes. After about 9 hours of wearing them, I could start to tell a difference. For one, my foot didn’t feel like it was going to fall off at the end of the night last night. Which is how it had been feeling.

I’ll keep you posted on the progress.

I also bought these:

bites

Well, I got the Double Peanut Butter ones. Teacher Sis got the pretzel ones. I haven’t tried them yet. And I don’t know if she tried hers either. I’ll let you know once I’ve eaten them.

I also watched this a handful of times yesterday:

I rounded my day out by supergluing straight pins to the feet of tiny cows for my terrarium. Super glue takes a long time to dry when it isn’t on your skin.

A long time.

Today is my second treatment in the wart trial. Right after workout, that is. And then I get to help La Duchess work on her laptop.

My day is sounding pretty amazing, right?

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
