No. That’s spray paint.
I’d like to begin this groggy Saturday post by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Purple Explosion. Be sure to wish her one as well.
Speaking of birthdays, Junebug’s birthday is coming up and she has decided to treat it a little differently. Instead of spending your monies on buying her gifts, she wants you to help out one of her favorite non-profits. It’s a brilliant idea. Some real grown-up shit. You should check it out. Click here for more info. And give them your money.
This post is coming a little later and little more haphazardly than I had intended. Last night, I attended Shamrock’s art opening at UAFS. And you know how much I love crowds and schmoozing. I ended up just clinging to small groups of people who were positioned out of the way. The plans for afterwards fell apart rapidly and I ended up talking to the S.A.N.D. nerds until past my bedtime. Which led to an immediate going to bed for me when I got home.
I got up early this morning in order to get a handful of things done before heading off to start my day with coffee with Crackoline Clifton Monte Carlo. Whom I have missed dearly.
Before I head off for catch up with CCMC, let me fill you in on yesterday. Mostly I worked in the morning. No surprise there. After work and before the art opening, I went to the studio for some good, old-fashioned printing time. I printed the backgrounds for a bunch of posters a while back, so I figured I’d finish them. So, I did…
Sometimes you make things and they turn out pretty good. And sometimes you make things that exceed your own expectations. This poster has exceeded. I’m very proud of this one.
As I promised the other day, I also took a photo of the proofs I did on Thursday…
They turned pretty rad, right?
Okay. Coffee time.
West Brom is about to beat Arsenal at the Hawthornes. BOING BOING BAGGIES!!!
See ya’ on Monday.
More soon. ~SC
