At a Serious Loss.

Because I have so much free time now.

Today’s theme is: Portrait.

Yesterday had me really feeling the loss of direction now that I don’t have the playlist to guide my daily life. I realize now the full extent of how much of my time and energy I poured into last year’s photos. Almost of it, if you were wondering.

It’ll take me a few days to settle in to having free time once again. Then I can start working on the stack of projects I’ve been amassing the past few months. I spent some time yesterday laying them out on my big table at the studio. After I made the speech bubble, that is.

Speaking of the speech bubble, did you see it? Isn’t it scary rad?

If you missed it, observe…

It is not dry erase yet. I added the text in post production. Because of course I have my handwriting as a font. I am planning on making magnetic dry erase board versions at some point in the near future. I just couldn’t get it done yesterday. In the meantime, I’m assigning different typefaces to everyone in my head right now, in the event that you are in the speech bubble photos with me at some point. You don’t get a say in what typeface you get, so don’t even start with me.

But we don’t have to worry about that today. Today I have to take a photo of someone else. I should probably go figure out who that is going to be.

I’m also working on comic book stuff with Further today. And hopefully paying my bills.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
