Today’s theme is: Portrait.

Yesterday was a very productive day.

In kind of an unusual way.

Workout was gnarly.

I knocked my work-work out early.

After that I sort of puttered around the house working on small stuff.

I worked a lot on my character for an upcoming roleplaying game. He’s amazing. Fabulous, I dare say.

Last night I went up to my studio to work.

I haven’t properly worked out there in ages. Sure I’ve gone out to fix something or work on something that was needed elsewhere, but I hadn’t MADE anything out there in months. So, I started working on a new poster. A poster about profanity. Imagine that.

And then I started doing actual layout on the press. I’ve got all the type set for the background. I just need to lock it all up. Then I can proof it and start the run. I’m hoping to get the first color down today.

Maybe second color tomorrow.

I’ll have to do the final run at the university, so I’ll schedule that today as well.

And on that note, I’m going to go drink coffee and get to work.
