Locally it’s just hot and humid.

And it’s never going to end.

But in life, the winds seem to be shifting.

That’s probably just the drugs talking.

It was a good weekend.

I read comics.

I ate Oreos. I hid from everyone.

And then they came to my house to find me.

I watched the Rev. Dark Wombat wield the giant hammer I had Seasaw Shawn make for him. He smashed things and only managed to get a mild case of heat exhaustion in the process.

I went to see “Valerian And the City of a Thousand Planets” with Dave and Little Miss Cotton. It was no “Fifth Element”. I felt like it was as if “Star Wars” and “Fifth Element” had a baby that grew up to be a very attractive, B-average student.

I also listened to “Raining Blood” like a thousand times.

Why?

Because it’s amazing.

That’s why.

Today is Monday. Let the chaos return to normal again.

Oh, wait. The Unexpected is happening.

Shit.

Scratch that about life returning to normal. Not for another week anyway.

Maybe I’ll go to Little Rock this weekend.
