Happy April Fool’s Day!

Expected so much more of it all throughout today.

Yesterday was a long day.

I went over to the Rev. Dark Wombat’s place for stories and lunch after Jitterbug and the kiddos headed off for church and whatnot.

We’re nearly caught on Star Trek Discovery. Fuck. That shows just gets better every episode.

It’s kind of ridiculous.

After stories, I came home to sit on my butt and read comics.

So I worked in the backyard clearing and burning privet all afternoon instead.

Because I suck at resting.

I did get all caught up on my single issues books before bed, though. So there’s something.

Today is Monday.

It’s the first of the month, too.

So I get to pay all my bills on a Monday.

That’s not gonna be horribly depressing or anything.

Nah. It won’t be too bad.

Because in addition to my paycheck, I’ve birthday money and my tax return. I’m gonna buy so many comics this week. It’s gonna be amazing.

Jitterbug and I will be needing more bookcases soon at this rate.

I’m so glad that she’s a book nerd, too. The rest of our lives together would have royally sucked if she wasn’t into spending money on a shitload of books every month.

Speaking of which, my wishlist is calling my name and I’ve got money burning a hole in my pocket.
