Happy Teacher Appreciation Day!

I’d like to take this moment to say thank you to all the folks that don’t go to work when the bell rings in the morning and leave when it rings in the afternoon. Those that spend their summers and holidays in professional development. Those who don’t get paid nearly enough for the job they’re expected to do. Those that take their work home with them everyday. That spend nights and weekends grading papers, writing lesson plans, and working in their classrooms. Those that had the patience to deal with little asshole kids like I was. And that are still happy to run into grown up assholes, like me, now and again at the grocery store.

You aren’t told nearly often enough.

You are appreciated.

Thank you for all you do.

Enough of that heartfelt shit.

Let’s get back to talking about me.

Yesterday was a Monday.

Everything was all stupid and mixed up.

I did everything out of order.

Luckily I was too tired to really give a shit.

I got everything done and that’s all that really matters.

Today is a day when I don’t have a whole lot going on.

Now that the hard part of my day, the workout, is over, it’s gonna be pretty relaxed from here on out.

Right?

I’ve an appointment with Johnny Fox at some point to cut all my damn hair off. I’m so over it touching my face.

Tonight we have the sportball games.

That’s all I know about today.
