The Warehouse That Weather Remembered.

July 18, 2019 by sandwichcontrol

I’d like to begin this morning by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Zilla. Be sure to wish her one as well!

Also, Happy Hotdog Day!

July 18 – Hotdog Day

I see many all-beef-frank-two-fiddy in my future.

Yesterday was weird.

I went to work in the morning and cranked out my normal stuff before lunch.

I finally managed to order replacement fan blades for the outdoor fans at work. I’ve been trying to order them for over a year.

A little over a year ago I called and the warehouse had been destroyed by a hurricane. They weren’t accepting any orders at that time. So they told me to call back in six months.

So I called called six months ago and the replacement warehouse was destroyed by a tornado. No orders. Try again in six months.

With hurricane season just ramping up, I got my call in a little early and was able to order them.

I wasn’t taking any chances this time.

After that I got myself super sweaty hauling furniture in from the gallery to the basement.

Then a little dinner with the fam.

After dinner Jitterbug, Beatle Sue, Gabb the Blabb, and I went to get mani/pedis.

The lady who did my nails managed to get to most of the grout out from under and around my nails. She gave it the ol’ college try.

There’s a little left on there, but I’m fairly certain that that has become part of me.

We called it an early night because we have a long day today.

There’s a rumor going around that I’m working out this morning.

Then breakfast and the normal bank run.

After I get done with that I have to run my normal Thursday errands before heading up the hill to run yesterday’s errands and pick up my tux.

After that it’ll be more errands, dinner, and probably more basement stuff.

But seriously though. Just a quick note.

Isn’t Jitterbug the most beautiful and amazing person?!

I’m so freaking lucky to have partner as wonderful as her.

And on that note I’m going to attempt to talk her out of working out and suggest a nice, relaxing snuggle instead.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
