Well, hail Satan and get to work, kids.

That pretty much sums up my approach to parenting.

Yesterday we worked outside all day.

I wanna say that the Ambien definitely helped me get some rest.

And I’m very glad for it because we busted our asses yesterday.

Aldis the Goldenboy and I built a nap wall while everyone else was cutting down and hauling jungle…

He split about half of that wood by himself.

We burned bamboo and privet all fucking day.

Since everyone is such hard workers, I fired up the grill and cooked tube steaks for everyone.

We earned it.

Today I’m hoping that the rain will hold off until tomorrow so we can keep burning all the stuff that got cut down.

As far as I know, all the jungle in the backyard has been cut down.

All of it.

We just have to clear it and burn it.

That’s crazy talk.

After we get that stuff cleared we can begin removing the rotten landscape timbers and rocks around the flower beds that we unearthed during the jungle takedown.

Then mowing and weed eating is all we will have to do back there until we start planting stuff and rebuild the creekbed.

Then I can build my go-kart track.
