New Britney.

I hear the 2021 model will have a jet pack.

We spent Saturday outside.

Everybody in the house has been spending all their time staring at a screen lately.

We felt it would do everyone some good to unplug and just hangout outside on a beautiful day.

The downside of that is that I was constantly followed around by people asking me things that were of absolutely no consequence.

So I sought solace in the one place I could be alone for a few minutes…

Needless to say it wasn’t long before they were knocking on the door to ask me something.

On Sunday we took the day off from working and hung out on the porch.

I figured if I was gonna sit outside and read all day, I might as well be comfortable…

Yes.

That’s my red chair from inside the house.

My comic reading chair.

And I read comics in it yesterday.

I also made Jitterbug and I a shitload of barbecue chicken for sandwiches.

It was a weird weekend.

And kinda awesome.

I only received one text from the time I woke up Saturday morning until I went to bed on Sunday night.

And that text was from Jitterbug reminding of the title of today’s post so I wouldn’t forget.

Because I didn’t have my phone on me at the time.

So I couldn’t make myself a note.

That’s it.

One message.

I’m not sure how I feel about that.

Overall it’s a very positive sensation.

The crazy (addictive) part of my brain is like “That feels good. Maybe you should throw your phone in the river so no one can text you.”

And the crazy (abandonment issues) part of my brain is like “They’ve all abandoned you. Like we knew they would.”

And the crazy (all the rest) part of my brain is like “Wait. We have a tub of barbecue chicken in the fridge? We should totally make nachos with it. Maybe when we wake up at 2am for absolutely no discernible reason?”

sigh.

It’s funny because it’s true.

Ahem.

Today is Monday and I have errands to do for clients.

And more computer stuff to setup.

And a coddamn phone to work on.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
