Three words I won’t have a hard time saying are: FISH, and AND, and CHIPS.

What a long and strange weekend.

Saturday we worked in the yard all day until the rains came.

Then I read comics until I couldn’t keep my eyes open any more…

We shipped the kids off to spend Easter at #poorstanley’s, so Jitterbug and I spent the entire rainy day sitting on the porch in our soft pants reading.

I really felt like we should have some fresh veggies for lunch/dinner, but the rainy day won out and I made fish-n-chips in the convection oven.

Once the rains went a little crazy we moved back into the house to drowse in our greasy food coma…

Then I read more comics until my headache forced me to stop.

I’m almost completely caught up on single issues.

Which is good because the rumor is that new issues will be coming out digitally soon.

That isn’t slowing me down though.

I’ve read 8 trades/graphic novels in April so far. For a grand total of 49 books for the year so far.

That’s not counting the single issues.

Which has been a shitload.

Especially these last few days.

I’m hoping to get a couple more trades/gn’s in before Wednesday in case new stuff comes out that sidelines the stuff I’m reading now.

Today is Monday.

I get to enjoy a quiet house all by myself this morning for the first time in ages.

Now I’m done talking at you.

It’s time for me time.
