Getting a Cacti.

Right in the cat eye.

That’ll show ’em.

Teach ’em what happens when they shit in houseplants.

The little fuckers.

How quickly the weekend went by.

I was a real grump most of the day Saturday.

I got hot and sweaty.

And then the air conditioner went out.

So I stayed that way until after dinner last night.

Luckily I have Lord Steel Bear that I can bribe to come look at things for me so I don’t have to call an HVAC company.

He sussed out the problem and got it working again.

Because he’s a wizard or something.

But his wizardry didn’t save me from being a grump on Saturday.

Mostly I just tried to avoid everyone in my house so I wasn’t taking it out on them…

After LSB came over and worked his magic on the A/C, we went out to the boonies where he and Teacher Sis had stumbled upon a bunch of headstones that someone had dumped in a ditch.

We loaded up pretty much all we could lift by ourselves and made a little graveyard in the back of Lippincottonia.

Then I grilled some tube steaks for everybody for dinner.

After everybody finished dinner we sent the girls over to hang out with Beatle Sue and Stan Stan the Rockman and we sent the boys over to #poorstanley’s.

Jitterbug and I got the night off from kids.

Which was much needed.

I just collapsed and soaked up the cold air finally…

It was the first time in 36 hours that I wasn’t completely damp from sweat and humidity.

Today we have the day off from work.

Because people take Monday holidays off or something?

This is the first one in like 20 years that I have no doubt in my mind that I have the day off.

It’s weird.

So Jitterbug and I are going to celebrate this Memorial Day by eating pizza and reading.

All day.

I hope you do, too.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
