Reaching the Point On a Thursday Afternoon.

The point where your brain just throws its hands up and walks out.

I was wiped out yesterday.

It hasn’t been a very busy week, but I’ve still been going hard.

While I have down time between projects lately, instead of reading comics, I’ve been getting every certification I can.

I found a little loophole at the office I’ve been working at and I’m really getting into it.

So I found out they any training or certification that’ll make me better at my job they’ll pay for said training.

Since I do a little bit of everything around there, I got them to let me have access to all of the training stuff for every department.

Now in order to get credit for the courses, I have to have my supervisor assign them to me.

Since I am a little bit of a wild card in the office, I am my own supervisor.

So I’ve been assigning myself classes and then getting certificates in them all week.

I’m up to twelve so far.

Everything from fire safety and prevention to yard truck driving to conflict resolution.

I’m about to tackle all the HAZMAT classes, too.

I’ve also ramped up my Spanish classes.

Since we’ve been getting up early this week to run before it gets awful outside, on top of all the learning I’m doing, my brain is pretty much mush right now.

Anytime I sit down for more than a few minutes sitting quickly turns to reclining which quickly becomes lying down…

Although it has really hurt my numbers in the comic reading department, this new routine is helping me kick the shit out of my steps.

On run days, I’m usually at around 6,000 steps by the time I get to the office in the morning.

Even on a leisurely day, I can destroy those last 4,000 steps that I need for the day.

I would give you my totals for the month, but I’m feeling lazy right now.

And I need to motivate myself to get up and shower and get ready to get 15 more certificates in all sorts of crazy shit.

I definitely need more coffee.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
