Behind the skeleton.

Next to the peanut butter.

So I didn’t make a post on Saturday.

Because I stayed up way past my bedtime Friday night playing D&D.

Way.

Past.

My.

Bedtime.

And then I got up stupid early on Saturday to go for a run.

We didn’t have to be at the baseball game until noon, though.

So I took a pitiful excuse for a nap after breakfast…

And then we spent the rest of the day in the sun at the games.

I was exhausted from the sun and all the people by the time we got home.

No one could agree on what to have for dinner, so I made six different dinners for everybody.

I was tired, grumpy, and had a headache.

I made each person’s meal separately and fed them one at a time and then sent them on their way.

That’s how over people I was.

I definitely couldn’t have taken much of the kids’ normal mealtime banter.

All the high pitched rambling and giggling.

Nope.

We, thankfully, called it an early night.

And got up a little later than normal.

It was nice to have a lie in.

Then we started the day with a workout and spent most of the day puttering around the house.

It felt pretty awesome to catch up on all the chores.

And then we rested…

We rounded the day out with a walk around the university and called it an early night.

Because we start early.

Workout one is done for the day.

Time to drink some coffee and take on the fuckload of work I have this week.
