The truly Impossible Whopper.

The word of the day is: Boss.

[ baws, bos ] noun a person who employs or superintends workers; manager. a politician who controls the party organization, as in a particular district. verb (used with object) to be master of or over; manage; direct. control. to order about, especially in an arrogant manner. verb (used without object) to be boss. to be too domineering and authoritative.

Without Debb the Blebb and her love of “The Office” this photo wouldn’t have had that amazing coffee mug in it.

And like all good bosses, I hid in the basement all morning yesterday while other people did the hard work.

As you can see, I no longer have furniture.

Only cookies.

If only the Girl Scouts had a cookie that sounded like “Zuul” then I could’ve made a little Ghostbusters joke reference to the effect of:

“There is no Sofa, there is only (cookie that sounds like Zuul).”

But alas.

While I was hiding from labor, I did manage to finish four books.

“Zero” Volume 1

“The Great Disappointment”

“Soft City: the Lost Graphic Novel”

And “Heathen” Volume 1

And I started my reread of “The Black Monday Murders”.

And read a few chapters of “The Silkworm”.

It was a good reading day.

With a break for a basketball game and another break for family movie time.

Today I’m probably gonna have to do some kind of work around here.

But maybe I’ll get some more reading in.
