Water, Water Everywhere.

But not a drop in the tank of the toilet to flush my poo down.

The word of the day is: Cacophony.

[ kuh-kof-uh-nee ]
noun, plural ca·coph·o·nies.
harsh discordance of sound; dissonance:
a cacophony of hoots, cackles, and wails.
a discordant and meaningless mixture of sounds:
the cacophony produced by city traffic at midday.
Music. frequent use of discords of a harshness and relationship difficult to understand.

I spent all day yesterday gathering snow, melting it, and either pouring it directly into the tanks of toilets to flush poo down or straining it, boiling it, and then filtering it for drinking.

Because somewhere along the way up the hill to the house, the water froze.

I have a feeling it’s on the other side of the meter.

I’ve run a light down there to attempt to generate enough warmth to thaw us out a little.

But I’m not holding my breath.

Today I’m going to shovel the driveway.

If I had done it yesterday before the sun came out, it would’ve been covered in snow again this morning.

But I’m tackling it today.

Just as soon as it stops snowing.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
