For a newborn baby.

But mad props to that lady for protecting those subs from the weather like that.

The word of the day is: Engorge.

[ en-gawrj ]
verb (used with or without object), en·gorged, en·gorg·ing.
to swallow greedily; glut or gorge.
Pathology. to congest with blood.

Alas, the last of the 19 layers from the “Tower of Chocolate” is now gone.

Yesterday was a long day.

Not because it wouldn’t ever end.

But because I finished my whole list super early and then had to occupy myself for the rest of the day.

I finished my reread of “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency” and then read “The Hawkline Monster” by Richard Brautigan.

So I started a reread of “Neverwhere” by Neil Gaiman.

And I finished “Young Frances” and started “Red Handed” by Matt Kindt.

I had other things to read next, but the fourth and final volume/issue of “November” by Matt Fraction and Elsa Charretier arrived yesterday.

I’ve been waiting for that to come in so I can read the whole arc.

I’ve read the first one a couple of times, but not 2-4.

I’m super stoked.

Then it’s back to the world of Hellboy.

And probably more Matt Kindt.

Because I unwittingly own nearly all of his comics.

But that’s for later.

Today is Thursday and I’ve got a fuckload of stuff to do.

Plus my bees might show up today, so I’ll need to be able to sort them out when they show up.

Okay.

Time to get busy.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
