The Reasoning For the Seasoning.

Mostly it’s just for covering up the rotting smell.

The word fo the day is: Onomatopoeia.

[ on-uh-mat-uh-pee-uh, ?mah-tuh? ]
noun
the formation of a word, as cuckoo, meow, honk, or boom, by imitation of a sound made by or associated with its referent.
a word so formed.
the use of imitative and naturally suggestive words for rhetorical, dramatic, or poetic effect.

I finished reading “The Black Mage” the other day.

And started on “Inside Moebius Part 2”.

Which I have now finished as well.

I’ve got about another hour and 45 minutes left of “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo”.

I’ve hit a wall with “Nothing to See Here”.

Once it turned out to actually be about kids that burst into flames like they are on the cover of the book.

It’s really great.

I just have to adjust to the shock of it literally being about kids bursting into flames and not just a figurative kid on fire.

Once the shock wears off I’ll be able to burn through the rest of it.

See what I did there?

Since I finished the Moebius book I’m moving on to “The Adventure Zone: The Crystal Kingdom”.

Then the third “Inside Moebius”.

Then Matt Kindt’s “Revolver”.

Then a reread through all of the Black Hammer universe so far.

The only one that I don’t own, or rather isn’t on the shelf or on the way to me at this moment, is “Barbalien: Red Planet”.

Which I will order after the first of the month.

But that will buy me enough time to reread the rest of the books and it should arrive just in time for me to be ready to read it.

Then I will officially be out of all the comics I got for my birthday.

I’ll have to start hustling weddings to get some comic dollars.

Who doesn’t love an autumn wedding?

Spread the word all your engaged friends.

Papa Wheelie needs new comics.

That’s what Debb the Blebb calls me sometimes.

Papa Wheelie.

It’s been added to long list of my aliases.

Today is Friday.

I feel like I should probably work in the yard this weekend.

But I’ll attempt to avoid that if at all possible.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
