And I’ll be a trumpet.

The word of the day is: Taxes.

[ taks ]
a sum of money demanded by a government for its support or for specific facilities or services, levied upon incomes, property, sales, etc.
a burdensome charge, obligation, duty, or demand.
verb (used with object)
(of a government)
to demand a tax from (a person, business, etc.).
to demand a tax in consideration of the possession or occurrence of (income, goods, sales, etc.), usually in proportion to the value of money involved.
to lay a burden on; make serious demands on:
to tax one’s resources.
to take to task; censure; reprove; accuse:
to tax one with laziness.
verb (used without object)
to levy taxes.

That’s me taxing the kids for taking them trick-or-treating.

Parent tax on candy woo!

Yesterday was a doozy.

Like strapping a 21 foot curtain rod to the top of minivan and driving across town kinda day.

Seriously what the fuck?

The rest of my day seemed completely normal and expected after that.

I think I managed to sit at my desk about 30 minutes total all day.

My legs were still sore from leg day last week.

And then we did legs again on Sunday.

Yesterday’s workout they wanted me to do kicks.

Yeah right.

I have to use the handles to lower myself onto the tiolet.

Let alone roundhouse kick anything.

Maybe I could kick some Pepperidge Farm cookies of the table.

All I need to proper motivation.

Speaking of being motivated, I started a rough draft of a table of contents for the rough draft of my memoir.

Man I’m gonna stir some shit up.

If I ever get around to writing the damn thing.

Not much chance of working on it today though.

I’ve got quite the list to keep me busy most of today.

Maybe I’ll be able to listen to an audiobook.

I haven’t started a new one since I finished “Hocus Pocus” by Kurt Vonnegut.

It wasn’t my favorite, but it had some nice tie-ins to “Breakfast of Champions” so that saved it quite a bit.

I’ve got a few goodies in my library that I’ve been sitting on until the right moment.

Today feels like that moment.

Wish me luck.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
