Yesterday was the climax of the fucking shitshow week.

I didn’t stop going once I got my workout in at 5:30am.

It was just a long whirl of errands for clients, active shooter training, plumbers unearthing problems, not enough coffee, no cookies, peopling, and an overwhelming urge to nap.

I could focus on the negative stuff, like the havok caused by the plumbers to my house, yard, and my bank account, but instead I’m going to focus on the fact that today is motherfucking comicbook christmas.

Seriously.

I haven’t had a comicbook christmas since 2019.

Not that I can remember that far back.

Let me rephrase that.

I can’t remember having a comicbook christmas since 2019.

That’s better.

Whatever.

The point is I’m long overdue for the chance to let my inner child revel in the glory that is comics.

I don’t care what else happens today.

I get a mystery stack of comics to love for just existing.

No good comics.

No bad comics.

Just comics.

And the love of comics.

And coffee and cookies.

Duh.

It’s the reason for the season.

I’ve got a whole pack of Vienna Fingers ready to dunk in my coffee.

Not to be confused with Vienna Sausages.

Which I probably would not dunk in my coffee.

Not until I’m 75 anyway.

After that all bets are off.

All right buckaroos.

It’s time for me to get everything that needs doing done so I can get to comictown.

Fingers crossed for some Jungle Girls adjacent titles in my stack.
