With you conch out.

I’m back.

I have been for a while.

But the night before I left for Kansas City my computer ate shit again.

I thought I got it working again once I got back to town.

But then it shit its pants again.

So I bit the bullet and replaced the fucking thing.

So while I got the old one rebooting from a Time Machine backup, I set up the new computer.

It is going to take me a little while to update everything and get all my files from the old computer.

I didn’t want to just set up the new fella with an old backup from the other computer because I feel like there’s some evil shit lurking around in there somewhere.

So, now I have to download, set up, and sign into all my apps that I use to make the magic happen.

Using Office and Photoshop from 2011 is great and all, but I need to update that shit and, subsequently, my life.

It is going to take me a minute to figure out the new Photoshop stuff, so no photos until I get that sorted.

In the meantime, I’ll just put random memes in the post.

Stuff like this:

Stop all the downloading.

Here’s a very brief update on our trip to Kansas City.

We drove up there, checked in to our hotel, met up with Zaxxon, grabbed a bite of food, and headed to rehearsal.

We decorated for the wedding, ran through the ceremony, and ate more bites of food.

Then sleep.

Saturday we had a bit of shitty hotel breakfast and coffee, went to Barnes and Noble to find a notebook (and clearance comics), and then headed to get ready for the wedding.

I then spent the next nine hours wedding-ing.

It was really beautiful.

On Sunday we had a less shitty hotel breakfast and coffee, showered, hit a used bookstore for more comics, dropped Zaxxon at the airport, hit another used bookstore for even more comics, ate some Taco Bell, met up with the newlyweds, ate some tapas, and then played video games until midnight.

Monday morning, after a shitty hotel breakfast, I headed to do some work for a client until around lunchtime, and then we headed home.

It rained the entire trip back.

Yesterday I went back to normal work.

I ran around all day putting out the fires that started while I was gone.

I think I’m almost caught up on work.

Now if only I could catch up on sleep.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
