Hello friends. Sorry for the delay in making a post. My Sunday has flipped on its head. I got the new bed yesterday, so I slept for butt last night. Then, I woke up. And Le Duke was calling me to help him load the car so he could leave for his teaching residency. Then, I went grocery shopping in the van.

I’m pretty brain dead right now. I have been for the past three or four days. (insert snide comments about me being brain dead all of the time) I’m just overloaded with emotional shit and work. I’m not even hungry which is saying a lot. That is why I thought it would be a good idea for me to just do some mindless work yesterday. Granted, the shopping part of the day wasn’t exactly mindless, but whatever. After the shopping was done, I set about getting the new bed. It is friggin’ huge compared to our previous bed.

The photo doesn’t really do it justice. It is big, though. So big in fact, that I keep running into it. There is bed where there used to not be bed. Luckily, it’s pretty soft.

After I got the bed situation handled, I moved on to the kitchen project. I got my shelving assembled and installed. I also got the cut edges of the new tile sealed up so as to not slice the shit of my hand when I clean them.

Now that I’ve got my two big indoor projects completed, and now that we have cooler weather, I can begin the outdoor projects. If I can find the money and energy to do them.

Today is a day of chores. I will be spending the rest of the day doing all of the menial tasks that keep my house operational. Ugh. Must focus. Must get out of crazy land and empty shitbox.
