Morning all. I’d like to start out today by wishing a Happy Birthday to Shamrock. Be sure to wish him one as well.

I’d also like to congratulate Pancake Land who correctly guessed that the molecule from yesterday’s post was nicotine. She won the dollar. I had some pretty good feedback on that little contest. Maybe I’ll make another molecule for you guys and we’ll try again.

Oh, sorry, I was just shopping for molecular model kits so that I could build really big molecules. You know, so I could build stuff like adenosine triphosphate and ribonucleic acid. Ooh, ooh, I think I know what molecule I’ll build next. Mwhahaha…

Today is Monday. That means I have meetings. Then tutoring. I would normally have class tonight, but we’re done for the semester. I just need to work on my final exam. It is a “take home” exam where we’re given 5 questions, told to answer 3 of them, and then, get this, we have to assign point values to each answer. The questions have to be worth at least 5 points, but no more than 50 points. And the 3 questions have to add up to 100 points. My professor loves his job. His job of torturing his students.

I slept through my alarm again today. It wasn’t a big deal because I woke up early anyway, but still. It is a bit disconcerting. The more I think about it, the more I think that I heard it and chose to ignore it. The sleeping me is an asshole. I have a vague recollection of hearing the weather report. Maybe I’ll pick up a couple more alarm clocks and strategically place them around the bedroom to ensure I have to wake up to turn them off. Maybe one of those roving ones that moves around to avoid being snoozed. Yes. This is sounding like a plan.
