Today we, the royal we that is, get a bit of a break.

By that, I mean there are no birthdays and no classes. I’m treating myself to a nice meeting and following that with a massage, homework, and archery. That sounds pretty good, right? Better than obligatory family gatherings and “social learning techniques”.

Speaking of classes, remember how much my Tuesday class pains me? Well, my Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes might just be able to save this semester. My social psychology class is pretty excellent. Yesterday he made a Buffy reference, further confirming that my professor and I are going to get along wonderfully. In my history of England class, in addition to making me the world’s biggest West Bromwich Albion fan, my professor rebutted current historical theory concerning Stonehenge by showing these:

Yeah. I might officially love this class. If you are reading this at work and cannot watch the videos, I highly recommend watching them from home or elsewhere later today. Someplace like Taco Bell is suitable. Pick me up a Crunchwrap Supreme and a Chili Cheese Burrito while you’re there, please.

In other news, I’ve added a link to over on the right hand side of the page. You see, what had happened was…

About a year or so ago, I started getting hits from this WordPress page. I had no idea who it was, but after checking out the site, I found that they had linked to me. Cool, I thought, but I had no idea who it was. Well yesterday, by chance, I found out that it is one of my friends (Deinonychus) from school. So, I added her to my links. Returning the favor as it were. Anyway, be sure to check out My Life As a Deinonychus.

Also in other news, I got a call last night from a 202 area code. I know this is a Washington, DC number. Maybe I am strange, but my first instinct was that it was Barry calling me. I don’t really know why that was my first thought, but it was. My first thought, that is. It was not, however, Barry calling me. I think he was playing basketball with Michael Jordan. It was, in fact, Don Chulius calling me. Apparently, he and the Baroness Ida von Blitzenstein are in town on holiday. (I can say things like “on holiday” because I am now a football fan, you see.) This news was better than Barry calling me. And they’ll be in town for about a week. So, this weekend’s festivities concerning Back Alley Trey’s birthday are coming to together nicely. The Don, Baroness, and Taco Planet. Excellent.

Well, I’d love to stay here chatting with you, but I have stuff to do. Have a wonderful day. More soon. ~SC
