And this is why we don’t bring strippers in the house.
And, man, let me tell ya’, her threshold for pain was beyond that of a normal human.
I’d like to begin this morning by wishing a very Happy Birthday to the Clairevoyant. Be sure to wish her one as well.
Today’s song is “Royals” by Lorde. It is being brought to you today by Miss Perkins.
If that song could talk…
It might tell a different story than the one that it normally tells.
Not a story of me fighting a stripper, though.
I have a cold. I’m allowed.
For that matter, it’s my coddamned website. I’m always allowed.
If you want the story of me fighting the stripper, call Dave. He’ll gladly tell you all about it. Be sure to wait until he’s up on a ladder though.
If you couldn’t tell, I’m feeling a little feisty, or something similar, this morning.
I blame all the DayQuil.
I’ve been meaning to tell you, I’d like feedback on the Daily Photos if you are willing to give it. Send me an email at email@example.com and let me know what you’d like to see more of, or less of, or just say you like it or hate it or whatever.
Do keep in mind that this is my website and if you say dumb shit, I will not hesitate to publicly shame you on here. Just like I will be publicly shaming those who gave me terrible songs on the playlist just so I’d have to suffer through a day of that song.
The weird part of all this playlist business is that I keep having other songs that get stuck on repeat in my head. Songs other than the song of the day, that is.
The other day is was the Sylvan Esso cover of “Everything is Free”. Yesterday it was “Body Electric” by Lana Del Rey.
Perhaps I’ll start adding a previous day’s secret song of the day. Just to see if you were listening to it too.
Or perhaps not.
I still haven’t done a million other things that I’ve said I’d do on here.
Like build a Spotify playlist for THE PLAYLIST.
Did you think I forgot about that?
The North remembers.
Okay. I’m off to get today’s madness started.
See ya’ tomorrow.
More soon. ~SC
