Today’s theme is: civilian.

You don’t get much more civilian than that.

Yesterday left a bad taste in my mouth.

I blame the potato salad.

Nothing that a fresh batch of banana bread/cake won’t cure.

I feel like there should something between bread and cake.

And that’s where this banana loaf belongs.

Banana brake?

Banana cread?

If this were England I could just call it banana pudding.

But that is a whole other creature here in the colonies.

I tried searching for a term for the flux state of matter before bread turns to cake, but didn’t come up with anything.

If anyone knows a term or can Google better than me, feel free to share whatcha got.

I still haven’t changed the calendars.

Maybe this weekend.

Today I have a long list of bullshit that needs doing.

I am gonna need more coffee first though.
